We are looking for a Fulfillment Associate  team - someone who works well under pressure, excels at time management, strong attention to detail, and adaptable skills. You will assist with supply chain logistics, inventory coordination in our returns and exchanges department. Your daily routine will involve executing the necessary steps and tasks associated with the effective operation of exchange and returns system in conjunction with the inventory maintenance for the philanthropic program at gc2b.

Summary/Objective 


2b.care Philanthropic Program was created in 2019 to function as a resource of community support and mutual aid for the LGBTQIA community. Birthed from the gender affirming company, gc2b, 2b.care partners with organizations to provide critical support of providing chest binders to entities who extend critical gender-affirming support for folks in the community.


The 2b.care Fulfillment Associate will be responsible for ensuring the support to the 2b.care Binder Donation Program and gc2b Markdown Binder Inventory is consistent and provides continuity, and flow productivity through organization and communication.  The effective contributions of this team member will ensure the systems of the Binder Donation Program and Markdown Inventory move seamlessly to enable the philanthropic pillar of 2b.care to extend access to binders for LGTBQIA community.


Essential Functions


  • Arrive to the office on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Reliably prep workspace (cleaning, organizing, and restocking inventory or shipping materials). 
  • Maintain the work area and equipment, ensuring that your workspace is kept in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. 


Exchange/Returns, Donations and Restock Process:

  • Manages received returned binders
  • Manage communication with and support of professional laundry services
  • Evaluates returned laundry 
  • Counts and records restock inventory and manages data input and upkeep
  • Restock binders back into inventory circulation
  • Provide consistent physical organization of binders


2b.care Inventory Management :

  • Support with physical count and management sorted returned binders 
  • Support with the physical arrangement/rearrangement of binder bins
  • Manage the inventory of the donations and markdown binders
  • Replenishes physical supply markdown binders for fulfillment and shipping
  • Maintains organization of physical inventory or donation and markdown binders


2b.care Binder Donations Shipping:


  • Support with picking for individual donation binder shipping 
  • Packages and ships organization binder donations.
  • Manages spreadsheet of organization donations
  • Provides bi-weekly update of count


**Perform other administrative duties as assigned.**



Physical Requirements**


    • The ideal candidate for this job can safely and consistently lift 25 and no more than 51 lbs above the waist.
    •  Candidate is able to work 30-40 per week on tasks managing repetitive tasks with appropriate breaks

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 - 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment


    Founded in 2015, gc2b has emerged as one of the leading transitional apparel companies in the world. Our HQ is located in Brentwood, Maryland, right outside of Washington, D.C., with the standard operating hours of Monday - Saturday, 9 am to 7:30 pm. However, due to demand, these hours are likely to expand in the next upcoming month.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


    This is a full-time position. Hours of work will occur Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week - subject to change.


    Required Education and Experience


    • Minimum of high school education or GED
    • At least one year of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or field-related experience in shipping and receiving. 
    • Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.



    Preferred Education and Experience


    • Associates Degree and/or 2+ of work experience
